The European session is seeing the EUR/USD mounting, fully repeating yesterday’s victims, and printing further gains despite the weak EMU retail sales data just released. Retail sales monthly change in December was a drop by -0.4%, when analysts expected a rise of 0.3%. In the yearly basis, data fell further from -1.5% to -1.6%. The consensus was marking -1.3%. The EUR/USD behavior toward European data is due to US nonfarm payrolls due to be published in the American session, with all eyes on it.
